Come one, come all! The Nature Center’s spring plant sale is Saturday, May 1st from 9 AM until Noon! Vendors from around the area and our own fund-raising group (The Guild) will be offering native plants and seeds, perennials, herbs and more!

Be at the Nature Center bright and early, we’ll see you here!

Have you been busy this Spring? Because the Nature Center sure has!

On April 25, approximately seventy ladies joined us for the 16th Annual Women’s Walking Workshop. Though it was cool and a little rainy, everyone had a blast! Here you can see everyone stretching and doing yoga, even though it was raining!

This past weekend, Indian Creek Nature Center’s guild held our annual Spring Plant Sale. Almost 700 people showed up to buy vegetables, herbs and native flower varieties for their gardens. Everyone left with an armful of greenery and a smile on their face, and the day couldn’t have been more lovely!

Sunday, we held a very special event, when we officially opened the “new property”, Věčný Woods! (“Věčný” means “everlasting” or “perpetual” in the Czech language, and was chosen to express that the woods will be protected forever.)

Representative Dave Loebsack came to the event…

…the stone marker was unveiled…

…and now, you could be here!

Come out to the Nature Center, there is plenty of Spring to go around!
